Vegetables can be grown using this two-liter bottle hydroponics. This video shows three months growth from seed to maturity. This is a test system in which we try different bottles, pipes, pumps, hoses and seeds.
Those front left are tomato plants. We use suckers from the tomato plants to make heavy production plants in a larger greenhouse. Each of these plants is a different type of heirloom tomato.
At the back left you can see the pepper plants and on the right just past the fish tank you can see a variety of lettuces which are being grown in rain gutters.
More information about using recycled two-liter bottles and rain gutters to grow food in can be found on our website.
