Watch our detailed guide and learn how to fit EPDM membrane external corner details on a flat roof. Easy-to-follow instructions for all flat roofing projects – large or small – the principle is the same!
EPDM is manufactured from a unique, high-performance blend of EPDM polymers and carbon black, offering flexibility and durability for its entire life expectancy of more than 50 years. This brings a reliability that makes it the perfect substitute for felt roofing, especially for the installation of a DIY flat roofing project.
The water-based, cold application of a single sheet of EPDM roofing membrane spells fast installation, even when it comes to the external corners, as you can see from the video.
Installing a flat roof sheet membrane need not be complicated – our Permaroof channel offers a number of instructional videos that deal with all aspects of fitting a flat roof surface covering from the single sheet application on the flat roof to the projections, EPDM trims and of course, how to deal with internal and external corners.

How to completely strip and remove a rear door from a peugeot 406 Saloon.
This includes removing the door latch, window winer mechanism and door glass.
The video should help if your having problems with a door latch such as it not locking or unlocking, if your window isn’t going up and down, if you need to replace a smashed window, or if your door needs to be removed for a respray.
Although a car with manual rear windows is featured in the video, i have done this on a car with rear electric windows and the process is the same, there is an electric window switch to lift out of the way and the electric motor must be disconnected but the mechanism or regulator looks very similar to the manual one.
When removing the door bolts have someone to catch it to prevent it falling, if its fully loaded with all the mechanisms and glass in place then it is a bit heavier, but stripped out its quite an easy thing to carry.
It is worth noting that you could unbolt the door with everything still in it, which would be convenient if you need a replacement door from a car in a scrapyard with the exact same trim level as your own, just disconnect the electrical connector and unbolt the door.
As for the issue with the door not staying open i have taken out the check strap and tried to repair it with a bit of success, i will do a separate video on this issue.
