” New innovation is so important to us, not least from an economic position but also because fresh ideas seem to feed into the social conscience. But what we have got is a way of actually producing new products that then go on to hopefully be manufactured or to generate a sense of excitement in our industry, then of course feed into commerce in a bigger level. Along side that, there has been such a great interest in the new design styles that we see in our home all the time, that these are the young designers influencing that change in taste.”

The inspiration came from objects used in spiritual practice so it’s a singing bowl and a whistling water vessel and ringing glasses. I was looking into how these sounds affected the body and the mind and then wanted to translate that into a context of today.”
