Let’s get started. First thing you want to do is, you always want to catch one of the rear ends. Try to work behind the mirror cap, it’s going to be kind of hard, so you always want to start on the on the backside and what you want to do is, you just want to kinda get your thumb placed right on the backside of the visor to where you can pull out slowly and you just keep your eye on the tape. And as you pull it very slightly, you’re going to notice the tape breaking away from the visor itself. And once it starts breaking away, just move your thumb and work with it and you’ll see. Don’t be afraid to bother breaks; you don’t need it anymore.
So just keep pressure on it and just keep your eye on it, just watch the tape as it pulls away. Another trick that you can use, is some fishing line. Or you can use some floss. I have some fishing line, so let me grab some fishing line here. And what you’re going to do with this fishing line is you’re going to wrap it around kinda wrap it around one of your fingers here and around one in your fingers here and then on the other side, you’re going to wrap it on it; kinda like you’re flossing it. And you’re going to get behind the the backside of the visor. and you’re going to use it in a sawing motion, pulling toward the front of the vehicle. And like I said just do it as a sawing motion, and it will pull this off right like butter.
Alright. We’re just working on down, till we get all the tape and once you get near the mirror cap, it’s not that complicated either. Down to the mirror cap, just really slowly and there you go. You’re going to pull your wire out, and you can go ahead and remove the visor. Very easy, just try not to bend your cap back, And there you go: that’s how you remove your visor.
One of the ways that I’ve always been able to get the double sided tape off, is just taking my thumb and one of my fingers and just rolling with it, and it’ll just roll up into a ball and it’ll take it off. Now if you’re getting to the point where just it’s not coming off that easy, you can just use rubbing rubbing alcohol or you can go to some other department stores that find you some adhesive remover. Now you have to be careful when using adhesive remover. You need to follow instructions, cause sometimes that you know if you don’t follow instructions, that can cause damage.
