The PVC edge band sample cutting machine was custom made for an Indian company and now sold to a company in Saudi Arabia too. ( The cost of machine is US$6000/-)
This machine is basically, developed to cut and punch hole in line on the edge band strip from 0.8mm to 2.5mm thick.
The roll of edge band is mounted on the unwind shaft with side plate guides to prevent it from collapsing. It is passed through a dancing roller which acts as the constant tension roller to the strip.
A 6mm hole is punched with the help of a pneumo-hydraulic cylinder which operates the die-punch. The pneumo-hydraulic cylinder or (air-hydraulic cylinder) can punch with 2 ton pressure. This is operated through air; hence we get Max. 40 strokes per min. with such a high pressure, required for 2 mm thick PVC for punching.
This strip is pulled with the servo motor of 1 KW. The servo motor is controlled with the microcontroller.
You to feed the parameters like:
1. length of strip you want to cut
2. Cutting time, (changes with thickness of the edge band)
3. Punching Time (changes with thickness of the edge band)
The micro controller pulls the set length (say 100mm) and the servo motor stops and the punch and cutter operates through respective solenoids for the set time. When the solenoids go off the motor pulls the next length and stops…………
This is the basic function of the machine.
Now, Looking at the requirement of all these companies we suggest that one can add a flexographic printing unit between the unwind station and dancing roller with a dryer unit. This will help you with printing the product specification on the back side of the edge band in a single color. (at extra cost of US$ 500/-)

Three years ago I decided to see if I could take the Kenne Bell supercharger kit that was made for the 2001-2004 Ford Escape and install it on my 2005 Ford Escape V6 AWD. Two months later, a bottle and a half of Excedrin Migraine, a lot of lost sleep and my daily driver was the first of it’s kind. Kenne Bell 2.0L twin screw supercharger (this involved tearing the engine down to the bare long block and rebuilding it as a 2004 escape motor, complete with the motor mounts (custom milled to clear the longer 2005 fuel rail), alternator brackets, alternator, alternator connector, timing cover, reclocking the crankshaft position trigger wheel, entire power steering system (pump, bracket, custom lines), idler pulley, tensioner, and belt all for a 2004 Escape.
