This mid-century modern kitchen table has been in our family since 1958. I’m re-laminating the table top using vintage ‘new old stock’ laminate material which is much thicker than the product offered today.
This basic classic table considered retro today has always been in use and has experienced a good deal of wear and tear over the years yet the surface has held up remarkably well, which I put down to the quality of the plastic laminate.
The material I’m using to re-laminate is Formica Rosewood which was purchased in 1969. This is left over stock that has been in our shop storage since that time.
Over the years there are many projects that I have made using this same rosewood laminate, which as luck would have it happens to be one of my favourite patterns.
For another project using this material see: https://youtu.be/tEEXYuLdja4 How to make a Kitchen Cabinet – DIY build, on this channel.

Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy, The Witch), Kevin reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him – as well as everyone around him – as the walls between his compartments shatter apart. – ( Original Title – Split )
