The teams go head-to-head during the first-ever HELL’S KITCHEN Crepe Grand Prix challenge, with the contestants racing to present Chef Ramsay with 10 acceptable savory crepes. The winning team will head to Santa Barbara for a luxurious dining experience on a yacht. Meanwhile, the losing team will face a fishy punishment as they take on the responsibility of handling fish delivery day. Later, during the dinner service featuring VIP guests – actress Noureen DeWulf and actor Dash Mihok – one team will struggle right out of the gate before someone’s lack of passion leads to another elimination.
I had trouble finding any videos on how to fill the cracks in old style paneling. We had a dark wood type of paneling downstairs and I HATE wood paneling….now REAL wood paneling I can deal with but not the fake wood paneling. You find this a lot in older homes. In our case this house had survived a flood in the 80s so the previous owners replaced the downstairs walls with paneling while almost all of the upstairs has plaster. I hope you find this video helpful!

Ladder (may not need if you have low ceilings and are tall)
Bucket of drywall compound/putty (5gal)
Putty knife and Tray
Sand glossy paneling to give drywall a rough texture to stick to.
Coat putty in cracks and run putty knife over to smooth out.
Lightly sand rough edges after it is dry.
Apply second coat of putty in the cracks.
Repeat a third time if desired.
Apply thin coat of primer.
Apply two coats of desired paint color
It took us 4-5 days of work. I was there 24/7 from the time we close but my hisband only had the first and third day off. We also had some help from friends. Here is a timeline breakdown: (ea night we were up to anywhere from midnight – 2am and I’d wake up next morning around 7/8am and continue work.)

4pm-? Sanded walls, started filling with putty, two rms completed.
Total of 4 people working most of time
June. 20 – Sanded down, 2nd coat drywall putty in cracks.
2 people working at a time.
June 21. – moved stuff from storage to garage so didnt work until afternoon/evening.
Painted primer on trim and walls both rooms.
3 people working most of time.
June 22. – Painted trim and 1st coat on walls
1 person most of time, 2 after husband got off work.
June 23rd – 2nd and final coat of paint trim and walls.

It was a lot of work! But i would do it over again because i loved how it turned out! Way cheaper than tearing out and replacing with drywall, puttying and painting drywall,
